2012 CEF Creative Teaching Grant & CEF PTA Matching Grants Please note: the 2012 CTG/PTA MG Application period has closed. 2013 grant cycle details will be posted in June. Are you seeking funding for a classroom, grade level team, or school wide project? Each Fall CEF awards full and partial support to teachers and school teams to bring innovative learning experiences to public school students in Chatham County, NC. For the 2012-13 school year funding cycle, two types of project proposals will be accepted: CEF Creative Teaching Grants help classroom teachers inspire their students by offering full or partial support for extra expenses associated with new instructional methods and experiences. CEF PTA Matching Grants help teachers, school administrators, and parent volunteers to collectively address a school-wide need. Principals apply on behalf of the school; a PTA (or PTSA, PTO) Officer must provide a letter pledging the organization's commitment for an amount equal to the grant request if selected. Please note: one multi-purpose application is used to apply for both types of grants.
